Week 52 Day 7
It seems that God's victory is taking so long
with too many twists and turns
Why not just get it over with
instead of dragging it out
But Peter told us God is not slow
God is patient
to come into his fold.
"The tabernacle of God is with man.
I will be their God;
and they will be my people."
This message is as old as Genesis
it had been the hope of God
throughout the ages
It has always God's dream
but here the statement is presented again
as though it is something new
now God's dream will finally be realized
in this new Jerusalem it will be done
It's called heaven and is
Immanuel -- "God with us."
GOD MAKES ALL THINGS NEW
To celebrate there is a wedding, and the faithful are all invited.
Revelation 20 & 21
4Then the souls of those who had been beheaded for Jesus and
for the word of God, lived and reigned with Christ a thousand
years. 5The rest of the dead did not live again until the thousand
years were finished. This is the first resurrection. 7When the
thousand years have expired, Satan will be released 8and will
go out to deceive the nations which are in the four corners of the
earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle. 9They
went and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city.
Fire came down from God and devoured them. 10The devil was
cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where the beast and the
false prophet are. They will be tormented day and night forever.
11Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it. 12 I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books
were opened. Another book was opened, the Book of Life. The
dead were judged by the things which were written in the books.
3The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades
delivered up the dead who were in them. They were judged, each
one according to his works. 14Then Death and Hades were cast
into the lake of fire. This is the second death. 15Any not found
written in the Book of Life were cast into the lake of fire.
1 I saw a new heaven and earth, for the first heaven and earth
had passed away. There was no more sea. 2 I saw the holy city,
New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven, prepared as a bride
adorned for her husband. 3A loud voice from heaven said, "The
tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and
they shall be His people. 4God will wipe away every tear from
their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying.
There shall be no more pain, for former things have passed away."
5He who sat on the throne said, "Behold, I make all things new.
6 It is done! I am the Beginning and the End. I will give of the
fountain of the water of life freely to all who thirst. 7Whoever
overcomes shall be My son, My daughter, and I will be their God."
9One of the seven angels said, "Come, I will show you the
bride, the Lamb's wife." He carried me away to a high mountain
and showed me the great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out
of heaven, having the glory of God. 12She had a great wall with
twelve angels at twelve gates, three gates each on the east, north,
south and the west. 18The construction of its wall was of jasper
and the city was pure gold, like clear glass. 21The twelve gates
were twelve pearls, each individual gate was of one pearl. This Bible passage was condensed from the NKJV
